In a world that is constantly demanding our attention and draining our energy, meditation offers us a much needed sanctuary.
Meditation is a sacred pause. Each practice is a chance to turn down the volume, let go of processing and tune into who you are beneath the noise and responsibilities of daily life.
Meditation doesn't stop the laundry piling up (we wish!), or the kids grizzling because they wanted jam not honey. What it gives us though, is a peaceful place that nobody else can access - a place of clarity, reflection, higher wisdom, healing - whatever we need.
The more we practise, the easier it becomes to return to that place of sanctuary. And over time, a regular meditation practice can change the way we relate to it all - our thoughts, other people, the world around us.
