Life gets busy! So it’s super important we take the time to unwind and switch off regularly to let go of stress, prevent burnout or (speaking for myself) perhaps just keep our sh*t together.
Guided relaxation/yoga nidra is my daily practice. I admit that some days I don’t make it to the mat for an asana practice, but I always make time to stop, drop and listen in, even if it’s just 5-10 minutes.
I know it can be really challenging to switch the mind off and lead yourself into a relaxed space, which is why so many people give up on the practices of relaxation and meditation before they’ve even really begun. Being guided by someone who is trained and experienced in these practices makes relaxation SO much more accessible.
For this reason I’m in the process of recording some audio files so you can experience the effects of regular relaxation anytime, anywhere. And best of all, they are FREE! 🙂
